Breathwork In The Mountains

Well I am home after a very intense, mind-blowing, cold, heart opening 4 days in the Snowy Mountains with @breathless_expeditions. The aim of my time away was to challenge myself in the most uncomfortable but wholesome ways possible.

Imagine plunging into an ice cold river on more than one occasion, an outdoor ice bath at 7am with views across the frosty valley, breathwork sessions designed to crack you wide open, connecting with other amazing humans in a way that we all crave deeply for, emotional vulnerability that pushes you to the very edges of your comfort zone.

Breathwork is a powerful tool for change, there is no way we can ignore this. In the world we live in, we need ways to connect with ourselves and others more now than ever. Breathwork achieves this through co-regulation, by taking the thinking mind 'offline' for a while and making space for us to shift into a deep state of inner calm.

I didn't complete this training with the definite aim of becoming a 'breathwork practitioner' , more as a way to expand myself as a person. The thing is though, I can't hide and pretend that it's just another course to add to my repertoire. This shit changes lives!

As I shift into exploring how I can share my new found skills and knowledge I would like to offer you all the opportunity to experience a free 1:1 breathwork session with me so you can see for yourself what it's all about and I can practice what I've learned.

If you are interested can you please reach out via a private message. Get in quick

I am looking forward to sharing more with you through the fitness sessions too as there are some really simple yet powerful breathing tools that can be used to improve fitness and performance without flogging your guts out. This is a big one for women who want to get the most out of their training without burning out.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Big hugs, Mel x
